sun and moon conspire

forging glow 

raining slow

dripping drops as wind respires

grey in hue

moody like faces of you 

once every darker blues

smiling for shared fires

missing words under hanging birds

luckless and uninspired

arms open and hands free

eyes of undying desire

menacing eagerly 

anxious ribs of me

no sounds required

plainly obvious

obliviously seeking danger

alarms sing like a choir

no care in a careless world

only a free hanging wire
